Region thanks community as regular water service resumes and restrictions lift Waterloo Region - Regular water service resumed overnight following repairs to a large pipe that supplies roughly 20 per cent of the Region's drinking water. The Region's water operations team and its partners drained the pipe on August 19 and worked around the clock to repair it quickly and efficiently.
