If you are a parent/guardian or student over the age of 16 that received an Order of Suspension from Attendance at School from Region of Waterloo Public Health, the information below outlines the information contained in the Order.
Your student received this order because their Immunization Record was not brought up-to-date. An Immunization Notice was sent to you earlier in the school year that listed your student's missing vaccines and what actions to take to avoid suspension.
The Suspension Order is a legal document and action is required for your student to avoid a 20 day school suspension.
Suspension begins on the following dates:
- April 2, 2025 for elementary (Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8)
- May 8, 2025 for secondary (Grades 9 to 12)
To get the student's record up-to-date choose the most appropriate option below:
- If this student has already received their missing vaccines, please report them to us.
- If this student requires a vaccine, visit your health care provider to get vaccinated. Once the student has received the vaccine, report it to Public Health.
- If you do not wish to vaccinate this student, please visit our vaccine exemptions page to review options.
- For more information and troubleshooting, please review the Immunization Notice.
- February 4, 2025 for elementary
- March 13, 2025 for secondary
