Getting around during construction
During construction, the eastbound lane of Can-Amera Parkway will be fully closed between Conestoga Boulevard and Franklin Boulevard for the duration of the work. A detour will be in place via Hespeler Road, Bishop Street, and Franklin Boulevard. Short-term full closures in the westbound direction will also be required at certain stages of construction, including during surface asphalt placement.
Sidewalks will remain accessible throughout the project, with pedestrians directed to follow posted signage, and transit users should visit GRT alerts for any bus route changes, stop relocations, or detours.
