Careers and Recruitment

Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services (ROWPS) are currently accepting applications for Part-Time Primary Care Paramedics, both new graduates and experienced paramedics, as well as Full-Time Advanced Care Paramedics.

An experienced paramedic is defined as an individual who is currently employed with a paramedic service and holds certification with a Base Hospital. These candidates will participate in a reduced onboarding program focused on the transition to ROWPS. This condensed onboarding includes six mandatory in-class days followed by five shifts with a Field Training Paramedic (FTP), riding third. For more information regarding the experienced hire process, please contact psvrecruitment@regionofwaterloo.ca
