Rear-end collisions

Rear-end collisions are dangerous and costly, but avoiding them only takes a second.

Rear-end collisions are the leading cause of injury on our roads.

Most dangerous rear-end collisions happen:

  • at intersections
  • with traffic signals
  • between 3 and 6 p.m.

When you're following a vehicle:

  • Take an extra second to slow down
  • Make sure you have enough space to stop
  • Give everyone a safe journey
