Rear-end collisions
Rear-end collisions are dangerous and costly, but avoiding them only takes a second.
Rear-end collisions are the leading cause of injury on our roads.
Most dangerous rear-end collisions happen:
- at intersections
- with traffic signals
- between 3 and 6 p.m.
When you're following a vehicle:
- Take an extra second to slow down
- Make sure you have enough space to stop
- Give everyone a safe journey
