Hergott Boomer Creek Bridge

The Region of Waterloo is rehabilitating the Herrgott Road Boomer Creek Bridge, located south of Ament Line in the Township of Wellesley. The upgrades will help extend the life of the bridge, improve traffic operations, and support existing and future transportation needs in the area. This work includes:
- Concrete deck repairs
- Soffit repairs
- Wingwall repairs with new tie-back system
- Railing system replacements
- Drainage improvements
- Paving of bridge deck and approaches
Schedule
Construction: June 2026 - November 2026 (ongoing)
Note: timing may be affected by weather conditions and changing project scope; updates will be posted as needed.
Budget
$1,068,000
Getting around during construction
Two-way traffic will be maintained during construction, with Herrgott Road at Boomer Creek Bridge reduced to a single lane. Road users should expect some delays.
