The Region of Waterloo is improving Erbs Road from Sandhills Road to Erbs Road Bridge in Wilmot. This work includes:

• Repairing the Erbs Road bridge over the Nith River with new deck, barrier and asphalt
• Resurfacing the top layer of asphalt
• Adding paved shoulders
• Improving guide rails

Schedule

Design and planning: 2025–2027
Construction of bridge: 2026
Construction of road: 2028

Note: timing may be affected by weather conditions and changing project scope; updates will be posted as needed.

Budget

Resurfacing: $3.1 million

Bridge: $2.7 million
