Erb Street Water Supply Iron and Manganese Water Treatment Upgrades

In May 2019, Health Canada released the Manganese in Drinking Water document, recommending changing concentration limits for manganese in drinking water. A Schedule C Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) study will review existing conditions, assess alternatives and provide recommendations for the implementation of treatment upgrades for iron and manganese removal to the Region of Waterloo's drinking water treatment infrastructure located in the Township of Wilmot.
