Help open more doors for your little one; start saving for your child's future with up to $2,000 from the federal government through the Canada Learning Bond.

Free savings for your child's education

Open a free savings account for your child's education and the federal government will put $500 in right away and add $100 every year that your child is eligible until they turn 15. You don't have to make your own contribution when you open the account.

Who is eligible

• Families who have children born in 2004 or later
• Maximum net family income for one to three children is less than or equal to $45,916

If you receive Ontario Works or Ontario Disability Support Benefits, this grant will not affect your benefits.

How to apply

Fill out the application below to start your child's Registered Education Savings Plan. You will need the Social Insurance (SIN) for you and your child.
