Myers Road | Water to Branchton

Overview

Project number: 05498 | Updated: January 2025

The Region of Waterloo is improving Myers Road from Water Street to Branchton Road in Cambridge. This work will include replacing underground infrastructure, urbanizing the cross-section with curb and gutter, adding multi-use paths, pedestrian crossings and reconstructing the roadway.

The Region is also in the process of constructing a pedestrian and cyclist ramp connecting from Myers Road to California Road. The concrete ramp will have retaining walls, handrails, lighting and noise walls lining the ramp. This will be complete in spring 2025.

These improvements will make it easier and safer for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists to get around in this neighbourhood.

Ramp and interim construction: 2024–2025
Road reconstruction: 2028–2030
