The Regional Municipality of Waterloo (the “Region”), and its agents, representatives, officers, employees, consultants and contractors, have used reasonable efforts to include accurate and up to date Information on the Site. However, the Region makes no warranties or representations as to the completeness or accuracy of such Information, and the Region makes no commitment to update or correct any information that appears on the Site. Your use of or reliance upon the Site or the Information are at your own risk. Everything on the Site is provided to you “as is” without warranty of every kind, expressed or implied, including but not limited to the particular purpose.
Upon clicking “I agree” below, you will leave the Region’s website and be automatically redirected to a website that is managed by Mission Systems Development Corp., who provides the web-hosting services for this application. In so doing, such data that you may provide will be outside the control of the Region. Mission Systems Development Corp., has advised that they use Secure Sockets Layer protocol (known as SSL) with 128-bit encryption that enhances the privacy of the data being passed between your browser and the Mission Systems Development Corp. server. Additional security features have also been built into the application. However, the Region assumes no responsibility and shall not be liable for, any damages to, or malware that may infect or affect, your computer equipment or other property on account of your access to, use of, browsing of, or reliance upon the Site or your downloading of any materials, data, text, images, video, audio or other Information from the Site.
The personal data collected on the on-line child care subsidy application form is collected under the authority of the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014 S. O. 2014, c. 11, Sched. 1. The data is collected to process, issue, monitor, determine, plan, and direct the early learning and child care program, including the granting of subsidies thereunder. Questions about the collection of personal data can be made by contacting the Manager, Early Learning Funding and Administration at 519-575-4400. The Region is governed by the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (“MFIPPA”), and Mission Systems Development Corp. is governed by the Personal Information and Protection Electronic Documents Act (“PIPEDA”).
The Region does not make any representations or warranties express or implied, as to results to be obtained from use of such Information; and further the Region makes no express or implied representations or warranties of fitness for a particular purpose or use. Information is supplied upon the condition that the persons receiving or reviewing same will make their own determination as to its suitability for their purposes prior to use.
The Region accepts no responsibility for errors, omissions, or delays. Furthermore, the Region will not be liable to any person or entity having access to or user of any Information from the Site for any loss or damage of any kind whether direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential, or harm to persons (including death), howsoever caused, whether arising out of errors, omissions, delay, negligence or otherwise, which may be occasioned from the provision of, use of, or reliance upon the Information provided at the Site, or the use by you thereof, even if informed of the possibility hereof.
