The following list of diseases must be reported to Public Health when suspected or confirmed by laboratory testing, in accordance with Ontario's Health Protection and Promotion Act

Diseases marked with an asterisk (*) and all respiratory and gastroenteritis outbreaks in institutions and public hospitals should be immediately reported to Region of Waterloo Public Health.

Other diseases should be reported by the next business day.
