Walk-in Clinics
Walk-in clinics provide medical care for people who are sick and do not have a family doctor or are unable to reach their family doctor. Generally, appointments are not needed. It is best to call before you go to confirm the clinic's location, hours and criteria for visiting.
If you have a severe injury or potentially life-threatening problem, you should always go directly to the nearest hospital emergency room.
In an emergency, call 911.
Health811 is a provincial health advice service for non-emergency issues. It is available any time of the day or night. Call 811 (TTY: 1-866-797-0007) to talk to a registered nurse. You can also visit the Health811 website to use the online chat and for a searchable database of health care services, including walk-in clinics.
