Fountain Street North

The Region of Waterloo is installing a new watermain along Fountain Street North 850m south of Flanders Road in Woolwich. During this work the asphalt, shoulders and boulevards will also be replaced. 

This project aims to improve the water supply system in the Township of Woolwich and support the growing community.

Schedule

Design and planning: 2024–2025
Construction phase A and B: September–December 2025 (weather permitting)
Construction phase C: Spring–Fall 2026 (subject to permits and rail coordination)
Final restoration: Late 2026

Note: timing may be affected by weather conditions and changing project scope; updates will be posted as needed.
