Pinnacle Drive to Robert Ferrie Drive

The Region is improving New Dundee Road in Kitchener. Phase 1 was completed in 2024, which was from 70m east of Executive Place to Pinnacle Drive. Phase 2 will work on Pinnacle Drive to Robert Ferrie Drive. This work will include water, storm and sanitary servicing, road reconstruction and a new multi-use path on the north side of the road. 

Phase 2 will also include a new roundabout at the New Dundee Road and Robert Ferrie Drive intersection.

Construction phase 2: Summer—Fall 2025

Dodge Drive W to Dodge Drive E

This section of New Dundee Road is being worked on by Cachet Developments (New Dundee) Inc. as they are developing a new subdivision with 127 units of condominium townhouses at 1000 New Dundee Road. This new development requires municipal servicing including local sanitary sewer and a watermain connection and full road reconstruction.

Fischer-Hallman Road at New Dundee Road

Project number: 05284 |  Updated: January 2025

The Region is constructing a partial two-lane roundabout at the New Dundee Road and Fischer-Hallman Road intersection in North Dumfries. This decision is based on technical studies and input received from the public through engagement in 2022. 

Southbound: Through right turn lane and left turn lane
Westbound: Through left turn lane and a right turn lane
North and southbound: Single lanes
